Predicting dengue incidence using panel data analysis

چکیده

Dengue is the most rapidly spreading infectious disease, especially in Indonesia. virus transmitted by bite of female Aedes mosquitoes. The high human population density and proximity to vector breeding places strengthen interaction between virus, vector, humans as hosts. Using dengue incidence panel data during 2018-2019 34 provinces Indonesia, this study examined effect a demographic variable control on time series were analyzed using EViews. fixed model estimation showed that was significantly associated with variables measured density, P-value 0.02. shows an insignificant association incidence. But simultaneous analysis has significant probability F (statistic) = 0.000. Our demonstrated densely populated Indonesia have very dengue. Improving sanitation settlements can prevent

Econometric Analysis Using Panel Data

Introduction Different types of data are generally available for empirical analysis, namely, time series, cross section, and panel. A data set containing observations on a single phenomenon observed over multiple time periods is called time series (e.g., GDP for several quarters or years). In time series data, both the values and the ordering of the data points have meaning. In cross-section da...

Analysis of Effects of Meteorological Factors on Dengue Incidence in Sri Lanka Using Time Series Data

In tropical and subtropical regions of eastern and South-eastern Asia, dengue fever (DF) and dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) outbreaks occur frequently. Previous studies indicate an association between meteorological variables and dengue incidence using time series analyses. The impacts of meteorological changes can affect dengue outbreak. However, difficulties in collecting detailed time series...

Analysis of the simultaneous effects of renewable energy consumption and GDP, using Dynamic Panel Data

In the recent years, renewable energy sources are an important component of world energy consumption. GDP is one of the main measures of a country’s economic activity. Most of the studies examine the impact of renewable energy consumption on GDP with single equation model and the others use dynamic panel data. Since the Granger causality analysis’s findings of this paper establish bidirectional...

Financial Development and Economic Growth: Panel Data and Trilateral Analysis

A large body of literatures links financial development to economic growth, yet the channels through which inflation and economic development affect this relationship have been less thoroughly explored. This research takes econometric and trilateral graphic approaches to examine these channels using 99 developing and developed countries during the years 1960-2009. Findings prove that respecti...
